Founded in 1998, Universal Events grew from a local need for a professional event management company to service the wide range of corporate, educational and non-profit organisations in the area.

Providing solutions for businesses, local authorities and places of education alike, UE (as we've become known) has grown to be one of the biggest suppliers of event solutions in the area.

Just two years later UE moved to their new purpose designed offices on the outskirts of Regency Cheltenham. Incorporating offices and production space (for one off design projects) the new building allowed the continued growth of the company.

With contracts for Cheltenham Borough and Gloucestershire County Councils, the newly formed University of Gloucestershire (for whom we run one of the UK's largest student Summer Balls), and the prestigious Cheltenham Racecourse, in 2001 alone, our event managers were involved with over two thousand separate events.

The end of 2001 saw the partnership of Universal Events become Universal Events Services Ltd, named to reflect the wide range of event services covered within our portfolio. The company has continued to expand, with over 130 staff with a range of skills - from fork lift drivers to event managers.

Continued growth has seen the company go from strength to strength - our wide range of client types have allowed us to weather the recent downturn in corporate spend, for instance. Indeed, steady progress through 2003 culminated in our most successful year ever during 2004, and early indications for 2005 once again show strong growth in the future
